IT'S 5 O CLOCK SOMEWHERE

In our case, it is 12 midnight in Georgia, which means that the revocation period has ended. Gabriel James Guidry is our little boy. All legal risk involved is over, and now we just have to go through the system to make the adoption official. I feel that we can breath a huge sigh of relief. God is so good! Thank you all for your continued prayers and support. We can now move forward as a family of 5! How sweet the sound:))

    Isaiah 40:31
    "They that hope in the Lord will renew teir strength, they will soar as with eagles' wing: They will runa nd not grow weary, walk and not grow faint."

    There is hym that incorporates this verse and it finishes with the prayer, "teach me Lord, O teach me Lord, to wait."

    You have waited so very long for this blessing. It has been a long and difficult road to get here. But how much more beautiful and precious is this moment in time, to know that God has been listening to your prayers and has answered them with this amazing gift? What is more valuable than a little life - a child, filled with innocence and love?

    I am overwhelmed with tears of joy and gratitude and praise to God for your son. There are simply no words that are sufficient.

    Our God is an awesome God! I just got through reading every single post and ooooohed at every single picture. Life has been a tad crazy on the McGuire end as we have been dealing with Darren's office being moved into our home! With that excuse being made... may I just say that Gabriel James Guidry is most beautiful???

    We could not be any happier for the two of you and darn it if he doesn't look like a Guidry! I love how God matches his children with their rightful parents. Quite the miracle.

    At some point soon Jax will send a little gift for Gabe. I'll let you know when to be on the lookout. Until then, God's continued grace to the FIVE of you :)
